Laura is a highly experienced and successful Professional International Standard competitor. Her titles include being the former Professional Rising Standard 2nd runner-up in the prestigious Desert Classic Dancesport Championships and San Francisco Open Championships, Amateur Champion in the Maryland Dancesport Championships and USA Dance South Central Regional Championships.
In addition to her own competitive achievements, Laura has helped students achieve their goals. She has provided coaching to top amateurs including the undefeated Spanish National Senior 2 & 3 Standard Champions and former USA Dance Senior 3 Standard Vice Champions. She also coached some of the current Professional Rising Star American Smooth couples.
Laura was also the co-organizer for the NDCA event “Pacific Grand Ball” between 2009 and 2011. She had operated one of the largest International Ballroom centers of the San Francisco Bay Area, Synergy Dance Ballroom (a.k.a. Premier Ballroom Studio) between 2008 & 2013.
Laura's technical precision and dynamic fluid movement are the credits of her extensive world class training with ballroom legends such as Luca Baricchi, Lorain Barry, Igor & Irina Suvorov, Giordano Vanone, Anna Mikhed, Linas Koreiva, Glenn Weiss & Charlotte Joregensen, and many more.
